“The RECREATE Project” is making a lasting impact within local communities and communities abroad by educating, elevating, and celebrating the rich heritage of Black Americans whose lasting contributions have helped to shape America. Much of Black History is not being taught in classrooms and is often overlooked in the media. The RECREATE Project is an initiative to celebrate, elevate and educate Black History year round. With your support, we can continue to tell the empowering stories of prominent Black Americans.
Your gifts of support will help keep this special project going and will assist in the effort to produce high quality content which is historical, educational, impactful and inspiring. Donation proceeds go towards production costs such as the following:
- photography equipment & updated technology
- wardrobe & accessories for each character portrayal
- make-up artist services (when applicable)
- hair pieces (wigs, extensions etc)
- rental space/venue fees (when applicable)
- website content & calendar content
Each component is vital for the purpose of recreating these historical images.
