Commonly referred to as the man who invented soul, Sam is honored in the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame, Songwriter’s Hall of Fame, received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, among many other accolades.  This pioneering recording artist helped shape the soul and pop scene with hits like “You Send Me,” “Chain Gang” and “Sad Mood.
